Within the scope of the Motor Vehicle Insurance policy, compensation for material damages caused to third parties due to the use of the vehicle is covered. The documents listed below are standard, but additional documents may be requested depending on the nature of the damage.
Required Documents
General terms and conditions require the following documents:
Certified copy of the traffic accident report (accident report) or Tramer Accident Report (KTT)
Bank account information (IBAN) of the claimant
If deemed necessary for the payment of damage compensation, the following information and documents may also be requested:
Photocopy of the damaged vehicle’s registration certificate
Official document showing ownership in case of non-vehicle material damage
Photographs of the damage
Turkish Republic Identity Number / Tax Certificate of the victim
If the damage is being handled by a representative; a copy of the power of attorney, the representative’s IBAN information and Turkish Republic Identity Number
If the license plate number is not specified in the policy; Photocopy of the insured vehicle’s registration certificate
For damages exceeding 20,000 TL subject to MASAK Regulations, the following additional documents may also be requested:
For individuals:
Photocopy of national identity card or photocopy of driver’s license with Turkish Republic identity number (including the person’s residential address, telephone information, and signature)
For legal entities:
Trade registry gazette
Signature circular
Tax registration certificate
Certificate of activity
Photocopy of the national identity card(s) of the authorized signatory(ies) (including the person’s residential address, telephone information, and signature)
Claim for Diminution in Value
Following an accident, a claim can be made for compensation for the decrease in the market value of the vehicle due to damage. The documents listed below are standard, but additional documents may be requested depending on the nature of the damage.

If the traffic/comprehensive insurance claim file has been opened by us,
Only the following documents are required for the payment of the Diminution in Value compensation:

In Accidents Resulting in Permanent Disability and Death
This covers compensation for bodily injuries (death or permanent disability) caused to third parties due to the use of the vehicle, within the framework of the traffic insurance policy. The documents listed below are standard, but additional documents/information may be requested depending on the nature of the damage.
Required Documents in Case of Permanent Disability
Generally required documents include:
A medical board report prepared in accordance with the Regulation on Disability Criteria, Classification, and Medical Board Reports to be Issued to Disabled Persons, published in the Official Gazette dated 30/3/2013 and numbered 28603.
For eligible individuals: Turkish Republic Identity Number
Accident report
Wage slip for the last 3 months belonging to the victim
Bank account information of the eligible person
The following information and documents may also be requested if deemed necessary for the payment of compensation:

Alcohol reports and photocopies of driver’s licenses (if any)
Detailed population registration record
Forensic report and epicrisis reports issued by the first healthcare facility the injured party visited after the accident, containing the initial examination findings

Current detailed population registration record
